A D&D party accompanies an aging king on a quest to slay a Dracohydra. They travel through a fey-touched forest, fight insectoid crows, and eventually confront the regenerating many-headed beast. Combat ensues with the party using various tactics and spells against the Dracohydra's multiple attacks and breath weapons. The old king proves pivotal in damaging the creature. Some party members fall unconscious but are stabilized. The session ends with the Dracohydra regenerating more heads, setting up for an epic conclusion in the next session.
